At first, you may think it’s just a cold and later you may come to know it’s a cold fever that makes you fully drain out, irritated and restless. The cold fever is mainly caused due to the virus, in the beginning, you may suffer from running nose, sore throat, body ace, sneezing, and low fever. Basically, fever is mainly caused due to the cold and if you are thinking to take medicine to get relief from cold. Try out some of the best home remedies for cold fever.

Here are some of the home remedies for cold fever that gives you relief:

Ginger and Peppers

Ginger and peppers are considered as one of the best antibacterial agents that work their best action to cure cold fevers. Take two teaspoons of fresh ginger juice and two teaspoons of crushed black pepper powder. Mix these two ingredients in water and boil for about 3-4 minutes, you can drink this with water or else for a better taste you can add both these ingredients with milk and drink twice a day and follow this procedure for 3-4 days regularly to get rid of fever.

Turmeric  and Black Pepper Powder

If you are feeling irritated and restless with the cold fever and don’t know what to do, then try out this one of the excellent home remedies for cold fever. Take one teaspoon of turmeric and one teaspoon of black pepper powder and mix these two in lukewarm milk. Drink this in the early hours of the morning; you can drink this twice a day. This remedy gives you relief from cold and fever.

Basil leaves

Basil leaves are also considered as one of the best ways to alleviate cold fever, Take a bunch of basil leaves and make it into a paste. Now take two teaspoons of ginger juice. Mix both the ingredients and filter it. You can take one teaspoon of this juice with honey and drink it 3-4 times a day.

Cloves And Yogurt

 

Another home remedy for cold is that, take about 4-5 cloves and crush them, you can either take it as a raw or else you can mix it with a fresh cup of yogurt.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon has an excellent antibacterial property and natural warming property that helps in treating the throat irritation, cold and cough and it also prevent the approach of cold. You can mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder with honey or else with lukewarm milk and take it twice a day. Citrus fruits like lemon and orange have natural defense mechanisms and fights against bacteria; these fruits help in clearing the respiratory system.

Green Tea

There is a number of benefits of green tea, a cup of green tea give you relaxation when suffering from severe cold, sore throat or running throat. Other herbal teas like cinnamon or ginger tea have antioxidants activity that prevents the virus from replicating.  The flavonoids that are present in the tea gives resistance power to the immune system and strengthen the body fighting against infectious agents. One of the best ways to have green tea is to take a cup of boiling water and dip a tea bag into it and soak it for 5-10 minutes. You can even add milk or honey for flavor and taste. All the above mention home remedies have proven in curing the illness within a short period of time with better results.
