Diet is one thing, which a person has to maintain, in order to prevent heart disease and stroke. To prevent heart disease from getting worsening, you need to follow a strict and healthy diet. First of all, realise the major risk factors of heart disease. Fluctuation in blood pressure level, cholesterol level, diabetes, smoking and alcohol consumption may cause heart problems.

Include more fish in your diet. Even if you do not like the taste of fish, find some type that you like well enough to eat at least twice each week. Fish is rich in omega oils and has been related to having a healthy heart.

Tomatoes that contain lycopene which among other things, reduces blood clots. Blood clots may cause stroke which is why tomatoes can be very beneficial in preventing this condition. Aside from that, tomatoes are known to reduce the risk of cancer. Thus, you’re getting a one-two punch for your health if you include tomatoes in your diet.

If you want to prevent strokes naturally, you must apply natural ways to reduce your blood pressure and improve blood lipids and cholesterol ratios. If you allow your blood pressure to increase without taking measures to lower it, this could lead to the hardening of the arteries which is a significant risk factor for a first stroke.
