Drinking Water: There are various home remedies for dry skin. One of those remedies is drinking at least eight to ten glasses of water in a day because your skin gets dry due to lack of water content in the body. Therefore, you have to drink two to four liters of water every day. After following this remedy, you can try the next home based solution to prevent dry skin in winter:
Herbal Pack: Massage your body with olive oil and some herbal essential oils, as this is a good treatment for your skin. Then you can try some homemade paste by using some common kitchen items.
At first, make a paste of papaya, banana and avocado with olive oil and leave it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove the pack from your face with some lukewarm water. This is a good home remedy for your dry skin.
Vitamin Rich Diet: Vitamin E is essential to make your skin glow, so you should try some food habits to supply your skin with sufficient amount of vitamin E. Try some food habits in your diet that includes other essential sources like vitamin A, B and E, which are also beneficial for dry skin treatment.
Exercise: If your skin gets dry in winter, you should try some exercises for better recovery of your skin. When you exercise, it improves blood circulation of your body and supplies your skin with good nourishment for a long time.
Other remedies:
Avoid direct sunrays to protect your skin and use some herbal sunscreen lotion when you are getting out. You should avoid makeup on dry skin. Try to think always positive to avoid stress because it will also help you to maintain a healthy skin.
