Posted on August 25, 2014 By Noor Lifestyle No Comments on Best Camping in Western North Carolina | Great Smoky Mountains Camping

Western North Carolina has been a vacation destination for over a century. Tourism in the area is a booming business as is the local real estate market. By simply exploring the area for yourself, you can easily see why! Whether you enjoy antique shopping, hiking, fishing, or historic sites, the area has something to offer for everyone.

Three mountain ranges: the Great Smoky Mountains, the Appalachian Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Mountains — converge in North Carolina, giving the area a charm unsurpassed in the rest of the country. These three mountain ranges provide the perfect backdrop for a fun and adventurous North Carolina mountain vacation.

Yosemite Pines RV Park is one of the most beautiful rv parks out there. This park is open all year and offers a ton of activities. You can pan for gold, hike and explore the beautiful mountains around Yosemite.

If you want to truly enjoy the outdoor experience you might want to consider going camping and rafting. These two activities are extremely popular during the summer months but it could lead to a totally unique experience during the winter months. Call ahead and make sure the outfitters are open before you head out to the area in the winter.

Whatever you are looking for North Carolina has it, from hiking and camping in the summer to skiing in the winter. You can golf, fish, hunt, or just take your time and wander around this magical state. North Carolina is a special place and after a visit it will be in your mind as well.

If you plan on taking a whitewater rafting trip down the river make sure to bring some warm clothes to change into because the water temperature is approximately 48 degrees year round and you are going to get wet when you go rafting down the river.
